A letter for Moose!
- Prettiest flower girl
- Looking out for Alex
Anastacia, this is your aunt Chelle, and I’m writing to say that you must be the happiest little girl I know! I know this for two reasons: you are the sunshine that brightens up everyone else’s day, and two, because you are going to be a big sister.
I hope you had a great party girlfriend! You will always be my favorite person to talk to on the phone. And you are the best person at putting babies to sleep, because you sing them your own songs, just like you did to baby Alex.
I think you are sooo pretty, but remember, what makes you pretty is your smile and your laughter. As long as you keep smiling you will always be beautiful.
You are a great dancer, and I want you to promise me that you will never stop shaking your booty. You sing like an angel as well.
Now that mummy is going to give you the best present ever, make sure that you take good care of her. When its time for Mum to eat, sit next to her and make sure that she has everything she needs. Kiss Mum lots of times throughout the day and remember to tell her that she looks like a princess.
Don’t let anyone trick you into thinking you are too grown up for pretty things. A girl is never too big for pretty things, including pink.
I wish I was there to give you pressies and hug you to pieces. Alex wishes he could see you too. He’s a little sick right now, but once he gets better I’ll take some pics of him and send them to you in the mail. Thats a letter just for you! ok?
I love you Moose! You are so sweet, just a little piece of Heaven. I miss you all the time and am praying that I will get to come see you soon – as soon as I can walk again! ha!
Lots and lots of love, ‘chelle

Mad Dog
It’s your birthday! And you are too far away, at least for my liking. I don’t know where you are or what you’re up to bro, but I hope that you are having a rocking time. I hope your birthday is special and thrilling, and that you are surrounded by people that love and care for you.
23! And I can still remember the day you were born. I remember praying very grown up 5 year old prayers for you. I remember going to the hospital to see you when you were so sick, and worrying like crazy about you. I remember when they had to put you in ice to bring down your fever. But most of all I remember how great it was to have you home! Your reddish curls all over. The cuddlebug toy that you chewed the nose off of. The way you used to scoot across the floor instead of crawling, and your horror of anything dirty or untidy! HA! You were the best little brother, so easy and fun to be around.
And you still are. I miss you bro. Hope we get to see you again soon! Till then, keep the faith.

Showering!
Matt and his hottie, Phoebe, are having a mini Wilding in just a month (maybe less). At a time like this, what else is a girl to do? I ended up throwing her this shower. Steph, Priya, Joyce and I were the taskforce, though the others did a whole lot more work. They’re smarter and have two legs.
A LOT of people had no idea what a shower was and whether or not we do them in the Family. Do we celebrate the birth of tiny angel bundles from Heaven? Do we applaud the HUGE amount of sacrifice that the mum and dad are giving for this new little life? Do we take time to commit the delivery into the Lord’s hands and as an area beseech the Lord for the safety of the baby and mother? Hey’ls yeah!!
Oh but the fun started the night before when darling Pri came over and we dug in to make our SUPRE SECRET TRUFFLES. And no, I didn’t type SUPRE on purpose. Nyahahhaa. It seems to sit right in the sentence, right there with darling Pri and I. ( You have to get it to get it people)
We also made designer fruit ice cubes, and started the prep for virgin watermelon margaritas with Steph. Toiled over serviette motifs and garnishes. But here’s the edge: after my accident before my last big party, I told the Lord I would take it easy and not get stressed. We cut off before midnight, and began the next day with Word time and some work, even though the event was just hours away. It felt great.
Oh it was a ton of fun! Tons of people came and we just basically laughed and rollicked our way through the late afternoon. Guess who put in a guest appearance? Paul the man. Great to see you mate, and we’re hanging out till Tuesday to have a “real chat”. Perhaps a whiff of Banrock Station as well.
Here’s a list of highlights:
- Steph. Was. Amazing. Through it all.
- Vin the King was back. Hadn’t seen him in weeks, and boy, was he a sight for sore eyes.
- Love birds Joe and Rejoice came out of hiding just a few short weeks before their wedding.
- Sam the man. A cake. Chocolate. Bliss.
- Imaginiff explored a whole new side of DA’s political aspirations. And Vince is a jellyfish that stars on the Playboy channel. (Get your head around that!)
- Mark took 170 PHOTOS!
- I loved Joyce’s hair.
- Hiki couldn’t believe we actually MADE those truffles. (Yes, I will send you a box for your next birthday)
- I wish you could have seen my kitchen full of STUDS cleaning up afterwards: Steph, Matty, Vinnie, Hiki and Mark. Yum!
- Priya rocked her new “do”. Lol. Sis you come up with the craziest things, and its all I can do to keep my fingers crossed and thank my lucky stars that you are beautiful enuf to handle just about any look.
Phoebe, thank you for being the hottest mum and bringing us another tiny slice of Heaven to rock this town. You and Matty are going to flip out over the kid. Prepare to be seduced by dimples and whimpers.
The fun is about to begin.
