is what I would like. More of your infectious laugh, your crazy prettiness, your love. You define sweet, my darling Mandy. I love the aura of care and laughter you carry with you, even though you have been through the tough times my angel.

Since its your birthday, I must officially apologize for all the years of flouncy, frilly, girly things I dressed you in as a tot, and for the cloud of ringlets in your hair. I know that you harbor a not- so -secret grudge for those years of torture by lace, and I take full responsibility. May I say though, in my defense, I’d like to see you do differently! haha. Yes darling Mandy, try having a bundle of dimples and liquid pools of smiles, all to yourself, and then resist the urge to go a little insane with her wardrobe.

You were the most longsuffering child Mandy, and you patiently put up with just about everything, including the interminably long primping sessions. But dont worry darling, I have learned, and now I have a savage little son to whom I can do nothing dainty in the least.

I love you sweetest sis. You are so dear to me that I find it hard to believe you won’t always be somewhere close by. May I say that I am extremely proud of you! You are rocking the world, in your effortlessly chic way. I adore you! And so does the rest of the world. True loveliness like yours is hard to come by, and I shall miss every day we are apart.

Paradise

Darlings we have been having the best of times… and dare I say “the worst of times”? Heh. Love that book.

Steph has been planning a mini getaway for us for the longest time, as we never went away for a honeymoon. We had an awesome wedding night stay (gift from the Uber couple, Tim and Sara) in Sydney, but since then have been pretty much running ourselves crazy. In a good way.

Chillin by the pool

I was gone for a ten day meeting, and the good folks here took Bubba for us and freed us for a few days when I got back. The hero’s of this tale are Priya and Faith as they looked after The Alex night and day while we were gone. We love you guys. Bunches of pink roses full!

Stunning

So the Lord supplied something tremendous. On the spur of the moment, and with no prior notice, He dropped a slice of paradise to us for a solid three days and nights. We were thrilled!! An exclusive beachside place that just took great care of us, from our gorgeous ensuite, to lush meals, and the best scenery. On the fourth day Fee brought Alex out to us and we all had a little chill together. Isn’t He the best?
